Long Hot Summer serves as a love letter to our city. Everyone's city. In recognition of all those who have come before us and in memory to all those souls we have lost. While in the spirit of classics like What's Going On, Innervisions, and America Eats Its Young, there's still no mistaking that this is music decidedly living in the present... with an ear to the ground and an eye toward the future.
